Geberit Fabrication SA in Givisiez manufactures multilayer pipes for the transport of water in the sanitary and heating sector.

Given the significant increase in our sales and the need for space for the introduction of new technologies, we decided in 2007 to build a new factory whose surface was to be twice that of the one available now. For our specific needs this new plant had to contain: an area for the installation of new production lines, a zone for a robotic packaging line, a handling zone, a packaging zone served by 5 new loading docks .

In addition, it also had to offer: new offices, a cafeteria, a training room, a mechanical workshop as well as technical rooms. The outside had to contain an arborized zone. The energy-environment factor alone was a challenge.

After a first study carried out within very short deadlines and with a rare effectiveness, the direction of the work was entrusted to BAT-MANN Constructions SA in Bulle. The building was built on schedule, respecting budget and requirements. We appreciated the dynamism, the know-how and the quality of the achievement. The final result is in line with our expectations, ... regarding aesthetics and more.
